On April 24, 2015 Queology, with a team boasting 25 years of experience cooking Charleston’s best barbeque, will share its savory smoked wings at Wingapalooza, a celebration of the best wings in the south. The event will be held at the Visitor Center Bus Shed downtown Charleston and begins at 7:00 p.m. The expected 1,000 attendees can sample and vote for their favorite wings in the Lowcountry, with the winning restaurant taking home the People’s Choice Award. A panel of culinary experts will judge various categories along with a wing eating contest, a mechanical bull, a live auction and entertainment by Charleston’s own country and southern rock band, Bootless.
Queology is not only bringing some of the best wings in the game, they are also joining in the event to support Eagle Harbor Ranch, a place for refuge and shelter for children ages 4 to 21 who are orphaned, neglected, abused and abandoned. One hundred percent of the proceeds of the event benefit Eagle Harbor and its initiative to add 24 more beds to house children in need this year.
